Bad Habits are Hard to Break
for the nth time i have tried to reform and endlessly convince myself there is a need to quit doing the following:
1. drinking coffee ( stains the teeth )
2. drinking tea ( ditto )
3. drinking coke ( ditto )
4. staying in front of the computer for more than 1 hour a day ( i seem to lose the will to free myself from internet’s tentacles….)
5. spending so much for a pair of flip-flops ( shoot, i now have 7 pairs, what do i need another pair for!!! screw me!!! )
6. eating too much on french fries ( i blame mcdo and j-bee, i blame their ad agencies, i blame the ones who fry them perfectly i can’t resist eating
7. borrowing more books than i can actually read ( how utterly pretentious!!! )
8. leaving a set of testpapers unchecked before the week is over ( hate checking so much i wanna vomit at the sight of foot tall stack of papers)
9. planning big for myself but not getting started ( i hope someone pays me to get started everytime )
10. taking care of animals ( i recently " murdered " 6 fish which were gifts to me, before that i starved some rabbits to death it’s a good thing my father loves me he took care of the poor things…)
apparently, like our politicians, i lack the political will for all these (crap). i’m praying to my lucky stars however that one day, before i’ll die, i’ll be able to break these bad habits.

kinda makes you wonder, is man truly free?
how exactly do you raise one’s political will?
a reward and punishment scheme, maybe?
el, please spare me the philosophical discussion
